Faith Collides deep-dives into the lives of industry leaders, sharing the narrative journey of how they started their careers, how they dealt with the most challenging times at work, and how faith played a role in their decisions and thinking. Think How I Built This — but more like How God Did It through an industry leader.
It's made for working professionals who believe faith can collide with their career — those trying to connect who they are on Sunday with what they do Monday through Friday.
Every guest maps the highs and lows of their career against the highs and lows of their faith. The most interesting moments are where the two collide — a career low that became a faith high, or a defining decision shaped by what they believed. Those are the moments Faith Collides slows down to deep-dive into.
Grace once dreamed of being a news reporter. But graduating turned into an early low point — working hard at school didn't translate into the dream job she'd imagined. Her path took an unexpected turn into agribusiness, and a move abroad to the UAE to build a career in management consulting.
At PwC Advisory and StrategyConnect, Grace learned how to ask good questions and understand business from a management perspective. Becoming a mom — alongside a growing desire to understand her Christian faith at work — is what led her to start Faith Collides.
She loved how shows like How I Built This inspired people to start and build things. But the reality is that most of us will always have to work, and won't always get to do exactly what we want — yet there are ways to pursue work that honor our values and become a blessing. So Grace began interviewing industry leaders and crafting their stories.
These stories paused in 2022, soon after her second child, as being a supportive wife and present mom took priority. In 2025, Lux Mundi pivoted to Lux Kids, where Grace now focuses on afterschool solutions for her children and community. But these stories are timeless — and she hopes to one day restart her storytelling.
The episodes are timeless, and Grace hopes to tell more one day. Here are two ways you can help — and stay connected.
